Paul Deming's contribution to the Light Project blog site:

As a performing musician in St. Louis (guitarist, The Ralph Butler Band), a teacher (Rohan Woods School) and a member of the Church of the Open Word, I was delighted to learn of The Community Light Project produced under the auspices of the Pulitzer Arts Foundation.

Our congregation was thrilled that our old church at 626 Spring Ave. could be the focal point for most public display of “Light” and “Community Involvement” by using the burnt-structural remains to display the most beautiful array of lamps, each with its own history of touching people’s lives. The correspondence of this exhibit to the history of providing illumination to individual lives through Divine Truth is inspiring and is part of our Mission Statement.

Thanks for inviting us to join with you in celebrating this glorious achievement of art and community! We will refer people to you through our web site at openwordchurch.com
